Elaine Strikes Back

On Friday, we headed down to the San Diego No on Prop 8 Headquarters to pick up some yard signs. (While we were there we also volunteered to help remind voters to vote no on election day).

Anyways, I choose to put my sign not in front of my house, but at the top of my street. I live on a cul-de-sac and I wanted to make sure that more people would see it as they drove by.

That night, it was gone. No where in the premises. It had not blown over. It had been stolen.

I pondered what to do all Sunday, and two hours ago I put this up:

No on 8 Replacement Sign

We’ll see it it stays up all through tomorrow.

Don’t f*** with me fellas. This ain’t my first time at the rodeo.

Wow that’s fantastic. I’m really proud of you for doing that.

    Thanks, Emily!

Unfortunately, it was gone by that afternoon.

But I like that picture whoever it was seeing the sign, becoming furious, stealing it and throwing it away.

And I hope that they were ashamed.
