About Elaine and Josh

ELAINE is a eighteen year old Jewish girl who attends the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia and hates math. She has become bitter and jaded after working for minimum wage at a multiplex and is a pro at identifying dog breeds (however, she thinks that golden retrievers are “overrated”). She has seen Elton John in concert, owns a “Firetruck in Action” calender, and hates the beach due to a fear of sharks.

JOSH is a eighteen year old Buddhist boy who attends Columbia University in New York City and is often mistaken for a female on the phone. He has a 5.0 GPA and got sorta-fired from his first job. He is an avid crocheter and hypnotized himself to learn French quickly. He once went to a Halloween party as Uma Thurman from Kill Bill, and takes “genius pills” that his mom gives him.

ELAINE and JOSH run this blog. They met in their eighth grade yearbook class at their San Diego middle school and became fast friends. They now attend separate colleges that are across the country from their suburban California homes (in the great community known as Scripps Ranch), and use this blog as another medium to keep in touch. Back home in the Ranch, the two like to plan parties, discuss NC-17 rated movies, and talk about various community service leaders. Among their frequent hangouts  are  Santana’s Mexican Grill, Coffee Bean and Yogurt Heaven. They tend to go through phases with everything, including friends, means of self-expression (YouTube, this blog, choreography, etc.), and favorite celebrities; however, Britney Spears remains a relative constant.
